My Brethren,
Let me take this opportunity to thank you for once again allowing me the privilege to serve Palestine Lodge as Worshipful Master. I have pledged to do my best to make 2010 a successful year and with your help it will be.
I would like to extend an invitation to you and your families to our January 14th meeting. This will once again be an open installation and I ask you to come out and support the 2010 line of officers for our Lodge. These dedicated men have worked very hard in the past and have always represented Palestine Lodge with honor and dignity. Not only is the public installation an opportunity to do this but also to introduce Masonry to our friends and families and show off our wonderful Temple. It should be an enjoyable evening.
This past November Palestine Lodge had a unique opportunity to be a part of a special event held at the Scottish Rite Temple in Baltimore. We were asked to host the first conferral of the Master Mason degree presented by the Scottish Rite 33rd degree 3rd degree team. This is a team made up of 33 degree masons from the Valley of Baltimore who conferred the degree on Brother Jessie Guercio. This was a very memorable event, not only for our newly raised brother but all involved.
If 2009 was any indication of things to come we will continue to be very busy this year with bringing in new members to our Lodge. I look forward to seeing as many faces on the sidelines to help us welcome these new brothers into Freemasonry. I hope to see you there!
Fraternally,
Arthur B. Redmond
Worshipful Master
